3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 medium onions diced
1 medium red bell pepper diced
6 garlic cloves
2 small cans of corn kernels (no salt added) drained
¼ cup of chili powder
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 table spoon of cayenne pepper
1 ½ kosher salt
1 28oz can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 bottle lager (Sam Adams)
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon of molasses
2 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2lbs of ground beef
1lb hot Italian sausage
Directions
1. In a large skillet cook and break apart ground beef and sausage, drain grease, etc.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 10hrs or high for 4hrs.
